I went to the
Sheep Shearing Festival at Gore place in Waltham with my friend
Jaye. We hung out with friends and fellow artist,
Nancy and her husband, Scott. The sheep shearing was really cool. It was incredible how much wool comes off the sheep. He used huge shears to cute off the wool and methodically worked his way around the animal. Hopefully, the sheep felt cool after this was done.
One of the reasons, we attended this festival was to check out the craft show that took place there. Fellow Boston Handmader, Bexx Caswell of
White Sparrow Bindery was showing their beautiful books. (above photo).
