Knit caps for kids at JP Knit & Stitch

Love to knit? Want to help a GREAT local charity and keep kids warm this winter?

Join Dana Farber's Caps for Kids program at JP Knit & Stitch (461 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130) for FREE sessions to make hats, scarves, and other cold-weather accessories for needy Boston children.

Use any pattern you want, FREE. Get help and instruction on your knitting, FREE. Use patterns suitable for beginners through advanced levels, FREE. Helping kids in need through knitting, PRICELESS. Oh yeah.

You can attend any number of sessions and can arrive and leave at any time.
Wednesday, November 7, 11:30 am -1:30 pm
Saturday, November 17, 10 am -12 noon
Wednesday, November 28, 6-8 pm

Boston Camera Club

Did you know there was a camera club in Boston for people who love photography and are avid amateur photographers? Well there is!

The Boston Camera Club is a non-profit organization established in 1881 and is dedicated to the advancement of photography as an art and science. The Club offers activities of interest to amateur photographers meeting six times monthly, with activities held throughout the year while regular monthly meetings are from September through June, and is open to the public. There's lots of info about the club on their website and there's also information about membership.

Club Programs are planned to interest all photographers, from beginners to skilled artisans. Guests and prospective members are welcome at any of the club's meetings. Check out the Boston Camera Club and their upcoming activities: http://www.bostoncameraclub.org
