Shop Marblehead

by Brooke Pickering, of Bancroft Studios

There is a wonderful store in my hometown of Marblehead called Shipshape. The store sit right in the middle of old=2 0town at 128 Washington St and is overflowing with nautically inspired gifts and home accents. The owner, Carol Moore, is always on the lookout for beautifully crafted affordable products and takes extra pride in finding local artist and artisans to feature in her shop. This is how I first came to meet Carol years ago when she began to carry my line of cement garden stones.
Throughout the years Carol has continued to enthusiastically carry and sell my products and last spring we collaborated on a line of handmade ceramics aptly named “The Marblehead Collection”. We have been thrilled with the response and support from our local community. If you are ever in Marblehead stop by Shipshape and take a few moments to explore all that this lovely shop has to offer.

  1. Brooke, I went in to that shop when I first arrived in Boston. I probably saw your stuff and didn't even know it. Marblehead was one of the first places in Boston I visited so that was probably in August. Marblehead has some really nice shops. Great post!

  2. Your ceramics so remind me of our days by the seashore. In the imaginary summer home of my mind, I have nothing but your pottery in the kitchen!
