In thinking about things, I realized that I was not entirely set on my business name. I wanted to have a name with some meaning behind it. With my prior name, designs by lulubelle, I frequently heard that repeat customers were having difficulty finding me or recommending my items to friends. Although the name had meaning to me I knew it may not be the right fit.
My new business name is inspired by a favorite quote of mine -- "Home is where your story begins" by Annie Danielson. 83 west is the address of my childhood home and where my love for all things art and craft related began. I have many fond crafting memories from my childhood and thought it would be a very appropriate name for my business.
