Head's up! There's a new artist market in town! The Burren in Davis Square Somerville (247 Elm Street) has started a bi-weekly show: Saturday Local Artist Market (S.L.A.M.). A couple of weeks ago a few Boston Handmade members exhibited there for the inaugural event, and this coming Saturday, February 13th, 12-4pm, more BHers will be on the scene!

About the show, organizer Mary Keane says, "The Saturday Local Artist Market (S.L.A.M.), offers local artists a place to show and sell their work as well as an opportunity for the public to find a wide variety of art and handmade goods in one location." In addition to the artist market there will be live music and $5 lunch specials too. Yumm.

One-of-a-kind valentine by Reclaimed To You

S.L.A.M. will be showcasing work in a variety of media including painting, photography, jewelry, book binding, handmade soaps, glass, textiles, ceramics, and this Saturday will have a special feature of Valentine's Day items.
