Boston Handmade Member of the Year!

Boston Handmade is pleased to announce our 'Member of the Year', Kerry Hawkins.

Kerry is a loyal member who goes above and beyond the membership requirements to help make Boston Handmade the greatest group of artists and artisans around (IMO!). Kerry not only demonstrates an unrivaled dedication to the group, but she is also always willing to lend a hand where ever her hand is needed. She is a good friend, a wonderful photographer, and an awesome woman!

I first met Kerry about 4 1/2 years ago when she came into Custom Art Framing & Gallery 9. She had been referred to us by the owners of local Dedham boutique Nest. She has since been showing her wonderful photography at the Gallery on a rotating basis. Actually, I believe we ALWAYS have at least some of her work hanging. I have also recently become aware of her work for the Dedham Square Circle. Awesome photographs, Kerry!

Kerry is a social butterfly, a free spirit, and always on the go as you can see from her blog. One day she will photograph the North End, the next day she is off to Cambridge, or Downtown Boston, she is always capturing unique images for us to ogle.

So, there she is...the 2010 Boston Handmade Member of the Year! Congratulations, Kerry!
