I was around much less this year (more on that later!), however, I still watched from the sidelines as Boston Handmade grew. What an exciting year for our group it was! We welcomed a slew of talent into our membership. I'd like to take a moment here to highlight some of my favorite works created by our new members who joined us in 2010.

This reminds me so of the woods behind my house growing up. It takes me right back. How I'd love to have this hanging on my wall.
Bookplates from cricicis. Every book needs a bookplate, and this is exactly the spot one would need a good book.
This mustard color is perfection. I can imagine myself every morning at the kitchen table with my hands wrapped around one of these mugs from citybytheseaceramics.

I absolutely love the blend of function and unexpected whimsy in Arthur's work. I'd throw a party just so I could use this plate.
Gorgeous artwork you can wear around your neck from artasana

Your child's artwork embroidered on a pillow. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
Have I mentioned that I think this is a great idea?
Okay. I must have this - soon!! A bag from PansyMaiden is a necessity for everyone.
I love the colors and the impressionist nature of merriweathercouncil's work.

Yeah for Yarn!!!! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have our very own spinner in the group!
and these knitting bags from McYarnpants would go a long way to keeping all my projects organized! This bird print is fabulous.
Green Tea Soap. What more could a person want! I can't wait to get my hands on some - from sweetauburnsoaps
