Handmade Art and Craft

From the vast multitudes of people around the world selling handmade items on Etsy.com, a group of Boston area artists, artisans, and craftspeople have joined together to form BOSTON HANDMADE.

We first connected in March 2007 in an effort to support one another in the pursuit of our respective crafts, to act as resources for each other when needed, to create opportunities for promoting the members of the group, to function as sounding boards for each other in the presentation of our work, and to each act as a productive and participating member of the group.

In the last several months we have successfully produced three group shows, and have gathered for networking and social events. We have plans in the works for several more exhibitions, workshops, and sharing sessions for ideas, craft materials, and skills.
