A Summer Reading Project

by Nicole of 83 West

With the weather this summer being so unpredictable, I'm constantly trying to find things to do to keep boredom at bay. It's been so rainy in our area that beach trips have been few and trips to the local library have been numerous. After repeatedly carrying an armful of books out of the library, I realized that each of the kids could carry their own bag of books and it would have the added bonus of keeping the books in one place once they were home.

Anna Maria Horner shares a tutorial for whipping up a simple library tote from just two dishtowels. It's the perfect-sized tote for the kids to carry their own books and quick to whip up. I may even need to make one for myself. Enjoy!
